The Shoal Bass Alliance was officially incorporated on March, 10, 2008 and exists entirely to aid shoal bass and their habitat. The SBA is a non-profit organization that operates on a volunteer basis by its members and officers. The shoal bass is a rare and unique fish and the SBA plans to make sure that a voice is heard on the fish’s behalf when they or their environment are threatened.
The SBA intends to educate and inform outdoor and river enthusiasts on the facts about the fish and it’s habitat. The alliance will do this through this website, seminars, river signage and word of mouth. Funding for these endeavors will come mainly from membership fees, donations and the occasional fundraiser.
